Golden milk

This is a beautiful recipe to have up your sleeve and a perfect option if you are looking to habit break the coffee autopilot in you. That that magic moment of pause, when we consciously choose rather than act on autopilot is where change happens and this delicious wellbeing drink both tastes beautiful and assists with relieving symptoms of inflammation. The cracked pepper is an important addition as it activates the turmeric therefore increasing wellbeing benefits.


Ingredients ( makes 2 )

  • 2 cups milk of choice

  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, rice malt or honey

  • cracked pepper to taste

  • dash hot water OR teaspoon coconut oil


Simply dissolve the spices in the hot water OR oil ( not both!), add your milk of choice and allow it to warm up and simmer for about ten minutes so the flavours blend. Stir in honey or your sweetener choice, serve in 2 cups, add cracked pepper to taste and mindfully enjoy.
