ConSCIOUS SHOPPING

The food choices you make have a profound impact on your health and one of the most self loving things you can do is to food shop consciously. Filling your fridge and pantry with wholefoods - locally and organically grown where possible will have a profound effect on your life!

Modern living has created such disconnection as a society with food. And for most their connection is through the supermarkets which is aisle after aisle of processed rubbish with a lot of it marketed to trick you to try to look healthy. Just remember when you step into the supermarket for the most part you are buying from large companies whose core value is profit not health.

Being conscious involves ignoring the marketing and reading the ingredients, choosing organic when you can, connecting with your local farmers markets, your local organic shop or online delivery service.

If cost is an obstacle I recommend 2 things. Firstly shift slowly and secondly look at your priorities and where your money goes each week. Change is one breath at a time. My truth is that ten years ago some weeks I had to dumpster dive to make it through the week and now our pantry is almost all organic and wholefood. Change is slow, beautiful, transformative and conscious. You are worth it.
